Workshop: The Embryo Transfer Simulator (ETS)

Date Thursday, June 6, 2024
Time 11:00am - 12:15pm CST
Location The Camellia Room

The Embryo Transfer Simulator (ETS) is an augmented reality simulator where current and prospective Reproductive Endocrinology Fellows can practice transferring "embryos" in a safe learning space. Skills are developed both by repetition, but also through several cases of increasing difficulty, representing different patient pathologies and anatomical features. The ETS also has the flexibility to emulate different clinic practices, e.g., the type of catheter used. If going through all 5 modules, sessions can last anywhere from 1-3 hours, depending on experience levels.
