Rachel Loftspring, JD
Rachel Loftspring is a Partner at Essig & Evans in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she practices Fertility Law exclusively. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, and Emory University. Rachel counsels clients from the United States and around the world on family-building through surrogacy as well as egg, sperm, and embryo donation. Her clients are intended parents and gestational carriers, recipients and donors, married and single, and of all sexual orientations. Rachel brings a unique and invaluable background in transactional law and litigation to her Fertility Law practice. Prior to joining Essig & Evans, she led the legal department of a nationwide distributor and was an attorney at Jenner & Block in Chicago. Rachel is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Illinois. Outside of her legal practice, Rachel serves as Board of Directors Chair for the Jewish Fertility Foundation. She is also an ART Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) and a member of the American Bar Association’s ART Committee.
