Said Daneshmand, MD
Dr. Said Daneshmand has expertise in complex IVF cases, and his research and publications have featured work on endometrial receptivity as a way to maximize the probability of success during IVF. Selected by his physician peers as a San Diego Magazine Top Doctor in 2019, he is recognized for his expertise in egg donation and surrogacy and is one of the main providers of third-party care in the U.S. Dr. Daneshmand, is double-board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, is known for developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies — including NGS (next generation sequencing), the latest and most precise technique for assessing embryonic genetic health. Dr. Daneshmand has received numerous honors including the Eileen Pike Medical School Valedictorian Award, the PCRS Fellowship and Practicing Physician Research Award, as well as the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s STAR Award, which he won in 2017, 2018 and 2019. He has served as the President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (Iota Chapter) is a member of the Decherney Society, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Dr. Daneshmand completed his fellowship and residency at UCLA School of Medicine.
