Available Scholarships
In-Training Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for individuals currently enrolled in fellowship programs, as well as medical students and residents. It aims to support the next generation of reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialists by providing access to valuable resources, networking opportunities, and educational sessions at the conference.
REI Lab Scholarship
The REI Lab Scholarship is dedicated to IVF laboratory professionals who play a crucial role in reproductive health and fertility treatment. This scholarship offers laboratory staff the opportunity to attend the conference and participate in workshops tailored to improving lab techniques and methodologies.
Genetic Counselor Scholarship
Designed specifically for genetic counselors, this scholarship recognizes your vital role in patient care within the realm of reproductive medicine. Attend the conference to engage with experts and gain insights into the latest research and practices in genetic counseling related to fertility issues.
Jean Purdy Nurse Scholarship
In honor of Jean Purdy, a pioneering nurse and embryologist who significantly contributed to the development of in vitro fertilization (IVF), this scholarship celebrates the essential contributions of nurses in reproductive health. It offers nurses the opportunity to attend the MRSi Conference as guests, gaining valuable insights and access to educational content that empowers them in their roles.
Scholarship Award Details
Those awarded scholarships will receive:
- Complimentary conference registration, including admission to the MRSi Program Sessions and all complimentary Social Events included in normal attendee registration.
- Accommodations at the Drake Hotel for 3 nights. Scholarship recipients will be required to share rooms (same gender room assignments). Room and tax charges will be covered by MRSi; any additional room charges beyond room and tax are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
- Up to $75 to cover your ground transportation to/from the airport, or if no air travel is required for car transportation (gas, parking, etc.).
- Up to $250 air travel allowance awarded to those traveling from over 250 miles away. Please note that you are responsible for booking your own flights.
- To receive reimbursement recipients must attend the full schedule of MRSi events and complete a reimbursement form with receipts upon completion of the meeting.
